A NEW ERA for My Quilt Shop
Well, it's finally happened, much as I have been fighting it, we are now running this website from the shop. I want to thank my daughter, Sarajane, for her cute designs and easy set up on My Quilt SHop website - she did it just the way I wanted. But it was too hard to keep her informed as to what was happening at the shop, what with her in St Louis and the shop in the NW corner of IA. So she set up this blogger site and turned it over to me.
We are going to be using this site to publish our classes, along with pictures of the projects, announce upcoming events, and generally keep you, our websearching quilters, informed about what is happening - and sometimes throw in some internet only specials. So, I'm glad you found us. Come back often - or better yet, come see us, because you can't feel the fabric on the internet.

Fall Fabric Frenzy Shop Hop
Come visit us during our
Participating Shops Include:
Question: I've never been on a Shop Hop. How does it work?
Answer: You and your quilting friends go to each shop participating in the Shop Hop during the times listed. You can go to all the shops in one day or spread it out over the week -- the choice is yours.
At your first stop you will receive a sign-up packet which will include a "passport." Have the passport stamped at each shop, then turn it in at your last stop. This is what makes you eligible for all the prizes. You don't have to go to all the shops, but that is the only way to be eligible for the grand prize drawing.
And this year we are giving 10% off your purchases when you show us your passport, so don't lose it! In addition, each shop will have a basket of goodies that they are giving away, so be sure to sign up for the drawing at each shop.
There you have it -- a good time to see the countryside, visit with your friends while on the road, and, of course, enjoy all the offerings at our NW Iowa quilt shops!
